Understanding the golden rule of IELTS is important to all parts of the exam, but it weight more heavily in the IELTS Writing test. When we are engaged in a conversation with a friend, you may notice that the topic of conversation may change from what you initially started with, we won’t even notice when and how it shifted. When we are writing a long email or writing a blog, the same thing happens, we talk about one thing at the beginning, then end up finishing with a different topic. It is then very important to focus your IELTS writing to answering the topic question and completing the task.
